I'm a Candy Girl...Again!

As last summer ended, I had to resign from the Digital Candy CT because I was just too tired. My scrapbooking really was slowing down and so was my online participation. Well, Carlie is here and life is getting into a groove and I am ready to scrap again like you just saw in the last post. Perfect timing because Digital Candy was having a CT call! I am back with them and very excited. My assigned designer for the month of June is Baubles-n-Scraps. Check out her designs at Digital Candy!

Catching Up

During my pregnancy, I was just too tired to really scrap or take pictures. Now that my sweet girl is here, I have been busy.
Here are a few of my favorites:

I have not blogged on this blog for a very long time and this is the reason why. This little one is just taking everything out of me. I just love this ultrasound picture of our daughter. We got good shots the 2nd time around. We found out that it is a GIRL! I finally get to take advantage of all of those girly kits.

I have not...

I have not blogged or scrapbooked in so long! I have not blogged for 2.5 months and have not scrapbooked in 2. I do have good reasons though. I am pregnant and wiped out. Plus it is the beginning of the school year and my little one turned 2!!! Lots has been going on but I actually got time to scrapbook today. I guess I will also update you on the past few layouts that I have not posted. Please click on the layout to get the credits.

Here are today's 2 layouts:

Here is my 5weeks 6 day ultrasound of our little "Pong":

Need to Catch Up!

I thought summer was the time that I would have a lot more time to scrap, get stuff done around the house, and have lots of play time with my family. Boy was I wrong! I don't know where summer has gone but I am almost a month in and feel like I have barely gotten anything done!

I thought I would share what I have gotten done though. I have been asked to join Sarah Meyer's CT Team!!!! I just love her designs and work with her at Gotta Pixel and Digital Candy.

I have gotten 10 layouts done since I last posted. And here they are!

Honey by Colleen Shibley

Rescue Team by Michelle Swadling

Lullaby for Chase by Sarah Meyer

Small World by Gary Fryns

Summer Sorbet by Lynne Simmons

Punk Glam by Tenessa Allen

Always Thankful by Michelle Pieters

All About the Alphaebet by Christina Wall

All Aboard by Paula Yagisawa

Earth Song by Brenda Miller

I WON!!!

While finishing buying Paula Yagisawa's $2 Grab Bag at Gotta Pixel, Stacy (Fortissimo, Site Administrator) IMed me saying "Congrats! You are our 1000th order."
This is so cool that Gotta Pixel has had 1000 orders!! The amazing thing is that I won 1 kit from every designer at Gotta Pixel!!!! They have some amazing designers. The hardest thing is going to be to choose which kits I want because I just love all of the ones that they have.
The funny thing is, I was just so excited to get Paula's grab bag and see the amazing goodies in there, that I had already felt like a winner. That was defintely a well spent $2.

Never even heard of blog tag, but I’m it (thanks to Holli!)-

This time its 7 things about me:

1. Schools out for summer! I just wish that meant I really had time off.

2. I have an obsession with digi-scrapping, which drives my husband up the wall.

3. I can touch my tongue to my nose, yet my son was tongue tied.

4. Sarcasm is a major part of my life because my husband uses it all the time. I sometimes like it and sometimes it just annoys me.

5. I hate thunder and lightning!

6. I am secretly addicted to musicals.

7. Part of me really looks forward to fall and a new set of students to shape and mold.

Now who am I gonna tag? I tag SarahB and the people who leave a comment here!

NYC 2003

My husband, mom, and I spent the day (and night) in New York city because of the blackout that was all over the East Coast. We walked from Battery Park (we were on Ellis Island when the power went out) all the way to Penn Station. It was an amazing walk that took us past Ground Zero, Wall Street, and SoHo. We would have never seen all of these things if we had not had the power go out.

My class went on a field trip to ride the ferry and play near the water on the Puget Sound yesterday. It was a gorgeous day. I got some amazing photos.
