I just love this shot of my son. It currently is my favorite. BTW, those are my legs in the shot and my son is looking up at me saying, Mommy?

Gotta Pixel Sale

I woke up this morning and found that Gotta Pixel is having a Memorial Day Sale! Check out Gotta Pixel's Blog to see who has great sales. How exciting. I just wish I had money to spend on it but we just bought Peter's new bedroom set. We went up to Costco Home in Kirkland over the weekend and found the perfect bedroom set.

We are excited about this but we still need to clearn out the room that is going to be Peter's new room, which currently is our study, also known as my craft room. That part is a bummer but I am excited to think that Peter may like this room better. He really does not like his nursery. We still need to pick a color and paint but school will be out soon and we will get there.

Moving On Up

I signed up with Top Digi Blogs a few days ago to see where I was in the world of Digi Blogs. I have moved from 640 to 511. That is not bad for the pure fact that I never feel like I have time to blog. I thought this would be a great way to push me to blog more. Hopefully with summer coming, student teaching finishing up, and school almost being out; maybe I will have a chance to blog more. We will see.

Some news. Shandy Vogt, who I am guest CT for this month, has joined the Elemental Scraps Designers.

Other news. Kathryn at Gotta Pixel has been at it again and has made some more of her wonderful charachters. Kikker is her frog who is found in her new kit, Leapfrog.

That is all for now. I have Peter's future room, my former scrap room, to clean out. We have his new "big boy" bed and the other furniture arriving next weekend.

Some of My Favorite New Scrapping Stuff

Kathryn Mhire at Gotta Pixel has a great new kit called Webbed Feet. It is just too cute.

Shandy Vogt has a couple of really cool new items this week. First off she has the Swass Masks and Swass Frames. I love them. That is how I did the frame on the Busy Boy layout. Shandy has directions on her blog on how to make them.

Busy Boy

We had a gorgeous evening the other day and Peter was running all around. He was also singing and dancing. I am amazed at what he can do and he just cracks me up.

Meredith

My niece only gets to visit once a year from Texas. In 2005, she was at the age that she did not want to talk to anyone who was not part of her daily life and all of us diffently were not. She would hide behind mom and dad for the full visit. This is the only picture that I got of her and it was exactly her attitude, "Let me go home!" Now that she is older, we have lots of fun with her.

My son was a big boy until 6 months. He was so adorable though.

Batter Up

My son was having a fun time in the son when one of the neighbor kids offered him a baseball bat to play with. He knew exactly waht to do with it.

This is my first time doing a template in PSE 3.0. Melinda helped out a lot.

CT Guest Spot for the Month of May

I have been honored with a Creative Team Guest Spot with Shandy Vogt. Here is a layout that I did today. My son has his old sunglasses that he has never liked because it straps around his head. He has been wearing them and then putting them on other family members.

Catch Up Time

I cut Peter's hair today and I couldn't remember if the 1/2" was for the top or back. I goofed and did it on the top and it was quiet short.

This is for the April 2007 "I Wanna Talk About You Challenge" at Gotta Pixel. We were supposed to show off one favorite digi scrapping thing that we love. I showed one element along with some other favorites. I love stitching, selective coloring, filters, my son, and my laptop computer (which obviously my son loves too). Sorry Colleen I couldn't just do one but I featured only one element.

I was trying to take some interesting shots of my friends flowers and the sun made the flowers dark. I love the effect that it had. You can also see the eggs hanging from the tree if you look caredfully. I love spring days.

This is for a digi-dare. The theme was what you love about yourself. I don't have photos of my eyes but everyone tells me that my son's eyes are mine.

The text says "His eyes are
what everyone tells me
are from me. Everything else
they say is from my husband. I don't
mind this one bit because I LOVE his eyes.
Just like me his eyelashes are so long and beautiful
and his eyes are an amazing color. I love that my son and
I share this wonderful trait. That is what I love about myself too."
